The Death over Dinner series has been getting a lot of great press lately. We are pleased to say that we have produced eight short videos for the ACHR with Rebecca Bartel. The idea is to get people talking about death while they can.
Australian Centre for Health Research also has been encouraging people to have the conversations, perhaps through the “Death over Dinner” approach.
“Conversations about end-of-life care shouldn’t start with doctors, governments, insurance companies or in intensive-care units when people are overwhelmed and upset; they should start with family and friends while breaking bread, and well in advance of an accident or an emergency,” the centre’s Rebecca Bartel says.
